Summer Work on the Green Envelope Project

Summer is here! While activity inside the Meetinghouse moves at a slower pace, activity on our exterior preservation and insulation project continues. Photos of rot and the repairs continue to be good news but even better… the contractors have now reached the top! The damaged spires and the steeple have been repaired with custom molding and newel caps. New finials for the spires are in transit. And new insulation and shiplap siding is being applied to the front of the building. The current schedule projects painting to be done by August!

There is still work to be done – and you, too, can help. For more information and how to help, visit Friends of the 1836 Meetinghouse and North Parish website . There are also QR codes on posters around the NP building. Be a part of history restored!
