Care and Support Services

Anything you do from the soulful self will help lighten the burdens of the world. Anything. You have no idea what the smallest word, the tiniest generosity, can cause to be set in motion.

Interlocking circles, different sizes and colors - Connections
In coordination with our Minister, and with compassion and discretion, we offer a Caring Circle of support, comfort and practical assistance to those in our church community in times of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.

Our goal is to express our connection and spiritual commitment to each other and strengthen the bonds of our beloved community.

We encourage and foster a sense of belonging and interdependence in serving others and inspire caring interactions to companion each other through times of illness, medical emergency, birth, bereavement or other challenging circumstances and life changes.

Care and support options:

What services are available?

Three types of support are available. Use the links below to review more details on each.

  • Practical Support Services that may be available through the volunteers in our Caring Community include rides, meals, visits…
  • Pastoral Support from our Minister or a trained Lay Leader is available for those who need a caring and committed listener.
  • Peer-to-peer support on wide range of topics is available from groups within North Parish. We also maintain a resource list of groups in the wider community.

How do I request assistance?

If you are in need of support on those listed or in other ways, email the Caring Community or Minister, or email  or call the church office. Our Minister or a member of the Caring Community will contact you.

How can I help?

All are welcome to join our volunteer community and respond to requests when the time is right for you. We respect your skills and honor your boundaries of time and availability.
