General Rentals - The North Parish Church of North Andover

North Parish as seen across the roundabout, set against stormy skies Prominently located in the Old Center, the North Parish has a long history as a center for community activity. A variety of spaces are available for rental by church members and community groups. All of our interior spaces are accessible and non-smoking; some are air-conditioned. Please note that while our sanctuary is available for wedding ceremonies, we cannot accommodate receptions or private parties for non-members.

Spaces available

A reception in the Parish Hall Freeman Hall is located on the ground floor beneath the Sanctuary and is accessed by stairs, the elevator, and exterior doorway from Great Pond Road. Restrooms are nearby.

The space also includes a small Parlor with sofas, a long dining table, and chairs. A long alcove on one side can also be available for select events.

Seating capacity is 75-150 depending on the arrangement of tables and chairs.

A pulldown screen is available at one end for projection viewing.

Freeman Hall is not air-conditioned; the Parlor and alcove have transom windows that can be opened and two exterior doors. Please note that the attached kitchen is available for member receptions only.

The Blue Room, used for classes and meetings, set up with center table surrounded by wooden chairs, two walls of window The largest – the Blue Room – is shown here. Seating capacity is 6-18. The rooms are ideal for small meetings or staging space for an event. The rooms contain moveable tables, a pin-able bulletin board, and a whiteboard. From September-June several are used by the children’s programs but may be available with advance notice. The rooms are air-conditioned and have windows that can be opened. They are accessible through the Chapel Door (in the upper garden) and have access to other spaces by stairs or elevator. Gender-neutral restrooms are located on the same floor.

A view into the labyrinth

Our labyrinth is nestled off the cul-de-sac at the front of the church. Recessed down from the walkway to the Chapel door, it is accessible by stairs and a sloped walk. Suitable for meetings, receptions, small group classes or activities, it is a “private” open space.

Fountain, bench, and plantings along one edge of the lower yard The Lower Lawn parallels Great Pond Road and can be reached by an accessible walkway from the road or a gravel path from the upper gardens and labyrinth. Enclosed by fencing and gates, it contains a small patio, bubbling water feature, and open lawn for seating or activity. Restrooms on both the Parish Hall and Chapel level can accessed through the lower hall, using either stairs or the elevator.
