Who are we and what do we do
We are a volunteer-run food pantry serving the Merrimack Valley, dedicated to supporting individuals facing food insecurity. Founded in 1992 by Cari Marchese at North Parish in North Andover, the Peoples Food Pantry now operates as a nonprofit organization. The North Parish continues to generously provide pantry space for food storage and room for food distribution to clients.
As a proud member of the Greater Boston Food Bank and the Merrimack Valley Food Bank we utilize the Food Hub in Salisbury, MA, for additional food storage and delivery. Our pantry is stocked with essential items through the Massachusetts Emergency Food Assistance Program (MEFAP) and USDA food supplies. Additionally, we receive generous donations of fresh produce and other items from the Village Food Hub, the Giving Garden, and the Boston Area Gleaners, as well as local retailers, bakeries, and farmers.

How can you help?
Volunteer
Help may be needed picking up donated food from local vendors or the food bank, setting up before the pantry, or distributing food on pantry days. Contact peoplesfoodpantry.org for more information or to sign up!
Organize a food drive
Food drives organized by individuals, community organizations or businesses are always welcome. We will help identify the groceries most needed and the best approach for a successful food drive.

Donate money
Your tax-deductible funds are greatly appreciated and used to purchase produce and other specialized food items. Mail your check – payable to The People’s Food Pantry – to North Parish Unitarian Universalist, 190 Academy Road, North Andover, MA 01845.
