Heritage Week Concert! “From Plimoth to Yorktown”

a concert by local early/traditional music luminaries Seven Times Salt. Music of early New England from the first settlers at Plimoth to their descendants on the eve of the Revolution. The eventual victory at Yorktown is celebrated with English tunes, shape note hymns, songs of liberty, rants against taxation and tyranny, wartime laments, and one of George Washington’s favorite dance tunes.
Admission is FREE (Voluntary donations gratefully accepted) and a fine reception with the musicians to follow in Cato Freeman Hall.
