Nearing the Autumnal Equinox & Yom Kippur

Unitarian Universalist congregations are covenantal, not creedal. This means we agree to journey through life together, to celebrate life and mourn death together, to support each other. It means that we share values, ethical principles, certain practices (like Sunday worship), and the understanding that it is A-OK to turn to a wide range of wisdom sources. But we don’t expect everyone to believe exactly the same thing. Many of us claim a “hyphenated” religious identity; we are “UU” and theist, pagan, humanist, agnostic, atheist, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, earth-centered, etc. The service will reflect on the range of theologies and religious identities under our Meeting House roof and how we live into being a pluralistic faith community.
