On Friday June 12 2026, participate in a celebration and commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the Town Meeting that adopted the Andover Resolve. On June 12, 1776,our town met to determine if the the Continental Congress should declare the Colonies Independent. This local vote, “The Andover Resolve” gave Adams, Hancock and the Massachusetts Delegation the courage and authority to sign the Declaration of Independence.
Held in the Historic North Parish 1836 Meeting House, doors open at 6 pm; program at 6:30. Free and open to all ages.
