Who Are We at North Parish today?
-For those who’ve been UU for a long time, hopefully they have re-introduced you to those sitting beside you in the pews, as well as a sense of who all is here under the “Big Tent” of North Parish.
-For everyone, I hope these services have affirmed that you’re in the right place and absolutely, thoroughly, 100% belong in this fabulous congregation full of interesting, committed, passionate people!
-I also hope that “hearing each other” has deepened your respect and appreciation of each other, given you some ideas about how to invite others to join us, and perhaps even given you to some religious language to borrow and use.
I have been struck by the similarities, differences and deep feelings among us. If you would like to read some of your fellow UU’s words you can read them at the links below. I am always curious about your thoughts, feelings and where you feel North Parish might “lean in” . As one of my favorite historians says, it’s time to leave it all on the field.
Yours in faith,
Rev. Lee
