North Parish volunteers will be helping Habitat for Humanity finish a two-family structure in Lawrence on Saturday, April 8. Come join us! No prior experience or skills are required. We will probably be painting, cleaning, and assisting others in completing these homes. We will be starting at 8:30 a.m. and finishing no later than 4 p.m.
Over the past few years, more than two dozen North Parish volunteers have helped complete at least eight homes for working families who contribute at least 250 hours of sweat equity and then purchase their homes with affordable mortgages.
