This fall, the worship committee is organizing three Sundays to explore our experience of the pandemic and begin to think collectively about ways we can all heal.
October 3: the Reverend Tess Baumberger will speak on her experience as a hospice chaplain during the lockdown.
October 17: Jessica McLeod, Nick Rand, and others will discuss their experience as educators and parents during COVID and how it has changed their perspective on their lives and their work.
Special mental heath panel discussion immediately following the October 17 service
The panel includes North Parish’s own Carmen Pepicelli, Moira McCarthy, and Ben Tittler. The three will share their experience as mental health providers during the pandemic and lead a question and answer session.
November 7: the Reverend Dayl Hufford of the New England Pastoral Institute in Salem, NH will join us.
Dayl is an expert on trauma and moral injury. She will share her perspective on the pandemic and its impacts through the lens of moral injury, a condition that many of our veterans know too well through their involvement in combat.
