Winter Coats, Strollers, and Diapers for Refugees

Drop off by Friday, December 2nd

The NP Community Action Team is organizing a stroller, winter coat and diaper drive for the homeless refugees staying in Methuen. There has been great interest in helping the refugees. Members of NP have been working with Community Teamwork Inc, a state designated refugee service provider, to assist with identifying specific needs to support the families. The provider has asked if we can make the following donations as soon as possible:

  • Gently used strollers with attached car seats
  • Gently used umbrella strollers for toddlers
  • Clean adult and children’s winter coats in good condition
  • Diapers size 4-6 and toddler size

We ask that donations are dropped off by Friday December 2. Please make sure that coats are cleaned and strollers are wiped down. Christine Leone has volunteered to accept the donations at her home and deliver to the hotel. If you have questions about donations, email Christine at christineleone@yahoo.com or text her at 978-457-2887. Donations can be dropped off at her house at 28 Vista Circle in Methuen. If you need assistance with pick up, please email Prudence Barker at prudencebrkr@gmail.com.
