When you first came to North Parish, did someone make a difference by welcoming you? We are looking for a team of friendly folks who are willing to help welcome and orient newcomers and new members.
You can be the critical factor of a newcomer’s impression of the congregation, just by being available and friendly! It just takes a small amount of your time and presence on Sunday mornings – or during the week – in one of a few ways:
- Welcome Guides will be asked to occasionally reach out to newcomers by phone or email to welcome them and answer any questions. Mike, our Membership Coordinator will match people up, one at a time.
- Ushers/Greeters greet newcomers and all members at the door with a smile, ready to answer questions or help with accessibility needs.
- Coffee Hour Hosts will once again be making the coffee and setting the stage for conversation.
Any needed training and background information will be provided. We can’t be a truly welcoming congregation without you!
