The Special Collection for October 10 will be designated for The North American Indian Center of Boston (NAICOB), per request of the Racial Justice team. The NAICOB has been organized as a non-profit organization since 1991, although it grew out of an Indian Council which formed in 1969. The center provides cultural, social, educational, and professional related services to the New England Native American community. Services include Covid19 vaccine registration and other Covid19 related services, advocacy services related to homelessness and housing, and employment and educational support.
