This past Sunday, Religious Education hosted our Second Sunday Lunch, welcoming the North Parish community to enjoy a delicious pancake meal prepared by our RE students. Following lunch, RE students took part in our annual Book Bundles Day, working alongside the North Parish Community Action Team to assemble bundles of books for children served by Communities Together – Manos Felices. Founded in 1993, the program provides an after-school experience for elementary-aged children living in Hancock Courts and Stadium Courts, state-funded family developments in Lawrence. Students also created beautiful bookmarks to include with each book bundle. We are so proud to see their faith in action.
