Let your spirit breathe outdoors!
Our young people are invited to gather in our backyard at 11:30 on Sundays this fall.
Elementary Children:
We will start the church year OUTDOORS, encountering non-human participants in the Interdependent Web of Life- and how they make us feel and act as human beings. There will be four big tents to gather under in case of light rain or drizzle, but please bring your own water bottle and dress for the weather (i.e. sunscreen, rain boots, clothes that can get dirt on them.) We will also insist on masks and social distancing since our elementary children are not yet able to be vaccinated. We’ll have fun! Adult helpers who love being outdoors are welcome as we’ll need some grownups around as we break into small groups. The sessions will last from 11:30 to 12:15.
Junior Youth:
We will start the church year OUTDOORS, with the intent to create our second fabulous Halloween MOVIE. Meet at North Parish on Sept. 12th from 11:30 – 12:30 and bring your super scary ideas and plot twists. Senior Youth or adults who are willing to help with costumes, filming or film editing are welcome. We’ll continue to meet outdoors on Sundays from 11:30 – 12:30 through October and hope to have an outdoor movie night uninterrupted by snow.
Senior Youth:
We will start the church year OUTDOORS with the Merrimack River Cruise on Sept. 12th. For more information and to register, click link:
On Sept. 19th, we’ll meet from 11:30 – 12:30 at NP to plan for the fall and decide on our ongoing meeting time.
