Discussion of On Tyranny, Timothy Snyder’s 20 Lessons from the 20th Century

June 1 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

The Racial Justice Team will offer a 90-minute in-person discussion (at 2 different times) of Timothy Snyder’s short essays On Tyranny.

Following up on our recent 4-week virtual discussion series, the Racial Justice Team will offer a 90-minute in-person discussion (at 2 different times) of Timothy Snyder’s short essays On Tyranny for those who were unable to attend the March discussion. Each essay finds lessons from 20th century history and provides succinct instruction on preserving a democratic society. Discounted copies of On Tyranny are available at The Purple Couch bookstore in North Andover; mention that you are part of the North Parish book discussion. You are welcome to attend whether or not you’ve read the book. We will meet in the chapel on Sunday June 1, 11:30 am – 1 pm or Tuesday June 10, 7 – 8:30 pm. Please RSVP to racialjustice@northparish.org
