Feb. 15 – What IS mutual aid?
We will consider how Mutual Aid allows for a new way of being where people create systems of care and generosity – systems that address the root causes of harm and promote well-being. As a shared coordination to meet each other’s needs, Mutual Aid has been a critical part of all large powerful social movements.
Feb. 22 – What should I know about the US immigration system?
We will examine different immigration categories (lawful permanent residents/green card holders, refugees/asylees, student and worker visa programs, DACA, TPS) and the length of time, cost, and complexities associated with becoming a naturalized citizen.
