Calling All Musicians

It is time to rekindle the North Parish music groups! If you are interested in singing or playing an instrument, please let us know.

The Adult Vocal Choir (which includes High School singers) is open to ALL.

There is no long term commitment. The door is open to try it out. Consider coming to a rehearsal with no pressure to perform during a service. Extra voices are especially welcome to join us for the big holidays (Birthday Sunday Oct. 23rd, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Easter, etc.)

We will sing at 2 services per month.  Each time we have a week night rehearsal to prepare and a Sunday morning rehearsal as well.  We sing all styles of music and mostly in SATB four part harmony.  All ability and experience levels are welcome.  If you sign up for the Choir email list, you’ll get emails to let you know which weeks we are rehearsing and singing.

The Handbell Ringers will be starting up again this fall.  This group is an ensemble team and the ability to read music is very helpful here.  Normally, we rehearse on Sunday afternoons.

The Children’s Choir will be singing under the direction of Christina Kennedy. Parents, if you want your child to sing this year, please email Christina at AssistantMusicDirector@northparish.org

Other solos and ensembles are welcome. Again, let me know what you’d like to offer as well as your availability for the fall. The front of the sanctuary stage now has room for more musicians at once.

All are welcome to share their time and talents to help the worship experience!  Please do not hesitate to contact me or our new Assistant Music Director, Christina Kennedy, if you have any questions.
