Building Use Changes due to COVID-19

The North Parish Building use has changed due to the rise in COVID-19 infections in Essex county or North east Massachusetts. The Board of Trustees approved reverting back to Phase 1.C which is more limited in use of the space. Below is a summary of who can use which space. For more details, refer to this Reopening Document, refer to Phase 1.C.

Fall plans are being made knowing in September, we will likely only be gathering in person for outdoor worship on the 12th; other September Sunday services will be via Zoom.  There will be children’s programming outdoors under tents in the backyard; stay tuned for details.

Who can use the indoor space:

North Parish staff and people the staff invite into the building

Those involved in the Sunday Services

People’s Pantry staffing

Bread and Roses staffing

Building and Grounds committee, for maintenance purposes

Masks are required for any indoor activity. The exception is staff working alone in their offices.

Who can use the outdoor space:

Up to 50 people may gather outdoors for services, rites of passage and church sponsored events. People attending these events are permited to use the bathrooms by the Chapel, one person at a time in the building. The event organizer must ensure the building is locked at the end of the event.

The North Parish office must be notified of any use of the grounds for groups. To request use of the space, please complete this Request form.
