General Rentals

Our historic sanctuary seats 272 in the pews.

The space includes a Hook and Hastings organ and a 6’ grand piano. A sound system provides amplification for both speakers and performers. Sound control and mixing capability as well as Zoom broadcast from monitoring camera angles in the balcony may be available with prior arrangement. See the Technical Requirement Addendum for more information. Many elements on our accessible platform can be moved, allowing space for a variety of performance offerings, for example chamber or vocal ensembles, theater. 

The sanctuary is not air-conditioned; windows can be opened.

Our Chapel provides a more intimate setting for a smaller ceremony or for group meetings.

Seating capacity is approximately 50.

The chapel is air-conditioned and has a small kitchenette area for refreshment preparation and cleanup. Gender-neutral restrooms are nearby.

Freeman Hall is located on the ground floor beneath the Sanctuary and is accessed by stairs, the elevator, and exterior doorway from Great Pond Road. Table and chair storage, a commercial quality kitchen, and restrooms are nearby.

The space also includes a small Parlor with sofas, a long dining table, and chairs. A long alcove on one side can also be available for select events.

Seating capacity is 75-150  depending on the arrangement of tables and chairs.

A pulldown screen is available at one end for projection viewing.

Freeman Hall is not air-conditioned; the Parlor and alcove have transom windows that can be opened and two exterior doors.

Multiple size classrooms are available for one-time events or potential repeat use.

The Flex Room (shown here) is located on the first floor, adjacent to the church offices. It is accessed by stairs, elevator, and an exterior door to the lower gardens and yard. Seating capacity is approximately 30, depending on the arrangement of tables and chairs. This space is also suitable for a small exercise, dance or art class. In this image tables are in place for food distribution by our bi-weekly People’s Pantry.

Additional classrooms are located on the Chapel level. The largest – the Blue Room – is shown here. Seating capacity is 6-18. The rooms are ideal for small meetings or staging space for an event. The rooms contain moveable tables, a pin-able bulletin board, and a whiteboard. From September-June several are used by the children’s programs but may be available with advance notice. The rooms are air-conditioned and have windows that can be opened. They are accessible through the Chapel Door (in the upper garden) and have access to other spaces by stairs or elevator. Gender-neutral restrooms are located on the same floor.

Our labyrinth is nestled off the cul-de-sac at the front of the church. Recessed down from the walkway to the Chapel door, it is accessible by stairs and a sloped walk. Suitable for meetings, receptions, small group classes or activities, it is a “private” open space.

The Lower Lawn parallels Great Pond Road and can be reached by an accessible walkway from the road or a gravel path from the upper gardens and labyrinth. Enclosed by fencing and gates, it contains a small patio, bubbling water feature, and open lawn for seating or activity. Restrooms on both the Parish Hall and Chapel level can accessed through the lower hall, using either stairs or the elevator.

Rental fees are based on the size of the space, the length of the rental (one-time or ongoing), and the renter (church member, non-profit, small business).

There is no fee for church-related activities such as committee meetings, youth group activities, choir practice, community action initiatives such as food drives, etc.

3. Submit the online form for a Rentals Request Quote. Our office will be in touch to discuss your needs and fees.
4. Download and complete the Building Use Agreement.  Print the completed form and mail it along with your deposit check to the office: North Parish Church, 190 Academy Rd, North Andover MA 01845. Our office will contact you to confirm your reservation and provide any additional information you will need.
