SUMMARY:SYG Earth Hour Scavenger Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Calling all SYG Youth! Join us Saturday\, March 26th from 8:00pm – 10:00 pm (meet in the Sanctuary) as we support our North Parish Climate Justice Group and honor the annual observance of Earth Hour. We will gather together to solve puzzles\, search for clues and find our way through a darkened church ending in the backyard with a bonfire and food! \nEvery year at 8:30 pm on the last Saturday of March\, people from across the world come together to raise awareness of the climate issues facing our Big Blue Home by switching off their lights for an hour. In honor of Earth Hour\, North Parish will be going dark from 8:00 to 10:00 pm and the building will set the stage for a large-scale “Escape Church” as we wind our way through the darkened halls and rooms with only the aid flashlights\, camera lights….working together to solve clues and find items to find our way out of the building and into the backyard where a bonfire and food/drinks await.
