DESCRIPTION:Bundle up for a 2-mile walk to see four of the eight banners created for Black History Month\, and learn a bit about the people being celebrated. \nOn this tour you will learn about Lucy Foster at the School Administration building\, Charlotte Forten at the Library\, Sarah Parker Remond at Town Hall\, and Zipporah Potter Atkins at the Senior Center.  At the end of the tour we will walk back to your cars. If you are not able to walk the route\, call the Senior Center (978-688-9560) to reserve a seat on their shuttle. DESCRIPTION:In addition to Yoga on Wednesdays\, Stephen is now offering a cardio dance class on zoom.  The cardio dance class will include; contemporary\, hip hop\, salsa\, swing and anything else that is cool!. It’s an all levels class with moves that are simple and you control how challenging. DESCRIPTION:Cato Freeman and Lucy Foster are the two most studied people of color in the Andovers\, yet we still struggle to understand who they were and even how they lived. The way we interpret their history is shaped by our own cultural biases.  Elaine Clements\, Executive Director of the Andover Center for History and Culture\, and Carol Majahad\, Coordinator of Museum Education at the North Andover Historical Society\, will share Lucy and Cato’s evolving stories. \nLocation:  The Stevens Center on the Common (North Andover Historical Society)\, 800 Massachusetts Ave. North Andover\, MA. \nTickets are free\, but seating is limited.  Please register in advance via Eventbrite. \nMasks are required inside.  Parking is available on Academy Rd\, please reserve spots in front of the building for the elderly and disabled.  In this season when the weather or travel conditions are questionable\, check the North Andover Historical Society website for cancellations before venturing out.  Email with any questions. \n  \n
