DESCRIPTION:Children’s Choir & Youth Singers Sunday\, September 27 and next Sunday\, October 4 in the sanctuary next to the piano after the service (11:10-11:30 am) to begin practicing for “Birthday” Sunday\, October 25\, and for our Thanksgiving service on Sunday\, November 22!  We will practice these Sundays this fall: September 27\, October 4\, October 18\, November 1\, 8\, and November 15. \nMusic is an integral part of our Unitarian Universalist tradition\, and our Children’s Choir & Youth Singers ensemble is a joyful way for young people to grow in both song and spirit! Children and youth\, Preschool (3 and 4 year olds) through 8th grade are invited to meet most weeks after Religious Exploration for approximately 20 minutes to learn music that is meaningful and fun\, and then share music in services three to four times per year. No experience is necessary — just a willingness to sing! Come join us and help us uplift our community through music!

DESCRIPTION:Open to All!  Join the Artemis Circle Choral Project for a free concert on Sunday\, November 8 at 4 pm as they perform poignant and uplifting music that evokes a sense of home and belonging\, including songs by Stephen Paulus\, Brandi Carlile & friends\, Kyle Pederson\, Tom Paxton\, Patsy Williamson\, and Marta Keen\, as well as folk songs from around the world. Donations to Community Mutual Aid at North Parish are suggested in lieu of tickets. Jackie Nathan will speak about the good work the group does for local families. You’ll see familiar North Parish singers Kim Adami\, Susan Ferrer\, Lora Freeman\, Alice Galloway\, Jennifer Staton\, and Melissa White along with several other singers under the direction of Christina Kennedy.
